Services for Adult Patients

You are not alone – approximately 1.3 million people in the United States are currently living with some form of congenital heart disease. The Children's Heart Center can help you manage your congenital heart condition in order to live a full, healthy life. Adults with with congenital heart disesase should be cared for by a cardiologist (often a pediatric cardiologist) who understands their unique cardiac issues.

The Children's Heart Center offers consultations and ongoing, long-term care for patients with congenital heart disease, including (but not limited to):

  • Aortic valve stenosis
  • Atrial septal defect
  • Bicuspid aortic valve
  • Coarctation of the aorta
  • Complex congenital heart disease
  • Congenital coronary anomalies
  • Dextrocardia
  • Ebstein’s Anomaly
  • Eisenmenger Syndrome
  • Fontan circulation
  • Patent ductus arteriosus
  • Pulmonic stenosis
  • Tetralogy of Fallot
  • Transposition of the great arteries

Dr. Willers provides all patients and their families with ongoing support and guidance at all stages, as well as education and counseling regarding the impact of congenital heart disease on individual life choices in such areas as work, education, exercise, sports, pregnancy, and parenting.

He also works with many other specialists in order to provide comprehensive care for patients with congenital heart disease. These specialists may be from such areas as:
